Work-Life-Kids-Balance - How to successfully manage career and family

Dear students,

we, the btS Heidelberg e.V., want to invite you to our next event!

Very early during their studies, female academics get the impression they have to choose between a career and kids. That pregnancy and parental leave will lead to significant setbacks or even imply the end of their scientific career. Too rarely we hear about the feasibility of a healthy 'Work-Life-Kids-Balance' and how it can be achieved.

We want to make mothers in leadership positions more visible and share their experiences to empower young academics!

On Tuesday, 15.09.2020 at 6 pm, we present three powerful women who disprove this view:

• Dr. Jeannette von Ratibor (Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal)
• Prof. Dr. Eva-Maria Neher (Founder of the XLAB)
• Ina Schlie (Senior Executive & Supervisory Board Member at QSC)

Our speakers will give you insights about their personal career development and how they managed to balance career and family.
