Mark Weitzman is an internationally-known lecturer and author who serves as associate director of education for the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a human rights organisation dedicated to preserving the memory of the Holocaust and to combating hatred, bigotry, anti-Semitism and genocide around the world. His numerous articles and monographs on the Holocaust, anti-Semitism and extremism have been published in books and scholarly journals. He is also the Director of the Task Force Against Hate. In these days while we are watching and discussing acts of terrorism and war against terrorism we ought to never forget that our ultimate goal is to get rid of hate. Mark Weitzman will participate in an international conference on „Youth Violence“ and the dai Heidelberg looks forward to welcoming Mr. Weitzman as a dedicated messenger of the human condition.
